About the Camp

5540 N Allen Rd SE Mableton, GA 30126

Camp Timber Ridge has been a magical spot for generations of Girl Scouts since 1924. From the camp’s pristine lake to the archery range and challenge course, the swimming pool and the STEM and Design Labs, where campers practice science and engineering, Camp Timber Ridge is the hub for exploring and trying new things. Campers come back to Camp Timber Ridge week after week and year after year. It is a tradition that prepares them to lead in the future.  This year we are celebrating our 100th year!

Unit/Cabin Life

Campers will live in one of our two units, in a cabin with air-conditioning and twin-size bunk beds with up to 8 other friends. Counselors will be in a cabin within the same unit as the campers and available at all times for camper needs. Campers will be placed into cabins based upon ages and the program they signed up for. Unit life includes such things as cooking out, kapers, turtle time, exciting evening programs, and time to get to know each other and their counselors. Cabins are the campers home away from home, and we make sure they feel welcome and included in all activities.
