Remaining balance is due May 1 for all June and July camp sessions or your registration is subject to cancellation. Payment plans are available contact your camp registration team at camp@gsgatl.org to set up a plant.

Do you offer camp scholarships?

Yes. The council has established a camp scholarship fund for girls. This fund is supported by the community and individual donations. Assistance awarded will cover a partial amount of the camp fee.

How is camp staff selected and screened?

The camp staff is made up of individuals 18 years of age or older. We recruit through online platforms, from local colleges and universities as well as recruiting former Girl Scouts and campers. All camp staff are required to have an interview with a member of the Director Team, provide references and pass a criminal background check. When hiring staff, we are looking for individuals that have a passion for guiding girls through outdoor experiences that create confidence and help them build friendships to last a lifetime. All cabin counselors are female role models, but our activity staff may include males.
