Program Description

Campers join us this week at the barn to work on beginning show jumping skills. This session is for campers experienced with trotting or cantering who are ready for the next step and who want to continue building skills with different horses. Riders in this session will focus on equitation including good body position, correct approaches, and steady speed, either on a ground pole course or over small jumps based on incoming skill set. Campers are ready for this program if they can walk and do a posting trot on the rail in good control and hold a jumping position at the trot for one lap of the arena. Open to intermediate and advanced riders who can do a posting trot or are working on cantering.
