Counselor-In-Training I (CIT I) with Horses

Girls Scouts of Greater Atlanta’s progressive leadership program gives YOU the skills, experiences, and opportunities to let your leadership shine! Counselor-in-Training I (CIT I) with Horses is the cornerstone of our camp leadership program, with the added option to have daily time in the barn and riding lessons. This training is a two-week sleepaway experience for girls entering 9th-11th grades. CIT I camp is an introduction to youth development, mentorship and leadership skills. In CIT I, participants will learn and practice skills needed to be positive and supportive mentors to younger girls while contributing to an empowering and inclusive camp community experience. CIT I camp provides participants with opportunities to practice leadership skills and be a role model that younger campers admire!
