Classic Camp with Ponies

Do you love horses? Classic Camp with Ponies is for any camper who loves horses and wants to learn or continue learning to ride while also enjoying the diversity of the Classic Camp experience. The girls will divide into groups based on a short survey sent to the parents before camp and their experiences during past summers with us. Participants spend either the morning or afternoon in the barn practicing their English riding skills and developing “Horse Smarts” through horsemanship lessons. They will also explore camp magic intertwined with splashing in the pool, paddling on the lake with a canoe or paddleboard, aiming high at the archery range and making creative arts and crafts at the Pavilion. Campers will build lasting friendships, try new adventures and are encouraged to have thirty seconds of courage each day as they find their home away from home in the magic of Camp Meriwether!
Badge Connection: Each week, each age group will earn one badge in Outdoor, STEM, Life Skills or Entrepreneurship.
